Vincenzo Cerundolo 1959-2020

We at the Association for Cancer Immunotherapy are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Prof. Vincenzo Cerundulo, Director of the Medical Research Council (MRC) Human Immunology Unit at the University of Oxford and the John Radcliffe Hospital and Professor of Immunology at the University of Oxford. The European cancer immunotherapy community is indebted to his contributions to the field of cancer immunology. He was a friend and supporter of CIMT.  We fondly remember his outstanding talks at CIMT Annual Meetings on the processing and presentation of cancer and viral peptides to T cells and lipids to invariant NKT cells. We will miss his scientific leadership and warm and engaging friendship.
